I have to say it's rare I'm entirely satisfied with something I made but I can't tell you how pleased I am with this.
It's made from Abraham Moon 100% wool upholstery fabric, in teal and raspberry,...it's tough stuff.
The hand embroidery is crewel wool thread. I did this last year sometime and I've had it sitting ages til I came up with a use. The embroidery is on cotton gaberdine so again robust. It's been stitched in and then the tweed cut away and edges frayed to make a frame. This is the first time Ive tried this and it's as near to perfect as I get.
The bag itself is cross body with a top zip and zipped front pocket. Inside is a zipped pocket and a slip pocket. The handle is soft webbing and fully adjustable. Size is approx 30cm x 30cm.
I guarantee you will not find another like it.
