Hand embroidered Donegal Tweed bag
£250.00
This is part of my 2026 hand embroidered collection depicting goddesses. This is the Celtic goddess "The Morrigan" she is a powerful, complex goddess primarily associated with war, fate, death, and sovereignty. She acts as a fierce protector of her people, determining the outcome of battles and foretelling the deaths of warriors. Often associated with crows.
As with all my hand embroidery this is done freehand with no pattern so it is absolutely unique.
The bag is a medium sized messenger bag made from 2 Donegal Tweeds in grey and red. The lining is craft cotton in the Nevermore pattern, from Edgar Allan Poes The Raven poem.
The bag fastens with a clip and has a rear zipped pocket.
The genuine leather handle is burned with the words "I am the mistress of my own fate" in English and Irish.
There is a removable cross body strap.
