Hand embroidered Harris Tweed bag. Poppies handbag

This is part of my wearable art range. It's all handmade by me in my workshop in Northern Ireland.
The Harris Tweed is woven by Gordon McDonald AKA A Harris Tweed Weaver in mixed red stripes. The flap is heavyweight cotton decorated with a hand embroidered poppy & bee design. The embroidery thread is all wool. The flap fastens with a magnetic fastener.
The lining is poppy motif printed cotton. The handles are printed webbing also with poppy motifs.
This is a statement piece.
measures 26cm high excluding handle, 23cm wide at its widest and 9cm front to back on the base.
